December 11, 2020 – CONGRATULATIONS RUTH!
We are so blessed to have this amazing woman as part of our church family. Her passion for being kind and standing up for the people of our community is unwavering and an example of how she lives her personal values. The city’s largest expansion of permanently affordable housing in 50 years will be called Ruth Lewin Griffin Place, named after the Portsmouth Housing Authority’s longtime commissioner and community stalwart. Congratulations Ruth for this honor but as important thank you for being a candle that shatters the darkness for so many. We love you.
