The Nurture Committee works with the congregation in ensuring shut-ins, those in the hospital, rehab and nursing facilities or those who simply need the voice of encouragement through cards/notes, e-mail and face to face visits happen on a regular basis.  The committee also cooks meals, makes phone calls, provides transportation for those who are unable to get to appointments and church and oversee the prayer chain.
