John W Richards was born on December 19, 1954 to Frank and Jane Richards and passed away on December 17, 2024.

John grew up in Rye and graduated from Portsmouth High School, class of 1972. He received his Bachelor Degrees from UNH, and then went on to earn an MSW and an MBA. John worked as a social worker for the majority of his career.

He is survived by his wife, Carol, and daughters, Rebecca and Katy. Also, his mother, siblings Nancy, David, and Carol, and their spouses, in addition to numerous nieces and nephews.
